“Everyone is invited to join us for our annual commemoration of the library's benefactor Adelaide Pearson. This year we are hosting the first Adelaide Pearson Arts Festival on the library lawn! On Saturday, August 10 from 10AM-2PM local artists will present their work with live demonstrations and displays, while also providing fun activities for kids of all ages. Joining us will be felter Pat Horton, eco-artist Katama Murray, artist Melissa Rioux and pottery team Codey Stange and Elise Teixido. There will also be a fascinating display of objects collected by Miss Pearson during her years of travel, a craft and coloring area for kids of all ages, and Mia Kanazawa will be on site with her food cart The Noodle Wagon which offers a delicious array of Asian dishes.”

POP-IN WATERCOLOR PAINTING WITH NATURAL PIGMENTS

Watercolor Painting with Natural Inks with Katama Murray (All day) Kids of all ages are welcome to pop into Katama Murray’s booth throughout the day to create paintings on paper. This is a special painting experience using a palette of colors which are local to the region, and made with sustainably foraged natural ingredients from the all over the peninsula.

STOP BY THE TABLE TO CREATE WATERCOLOR PAINTINGS USING PLANTS, AND SHOP HANDMADE PRINTS & TEXTILES!
