About the Exhibit:

Light & Shadow: Botanical Dualities features a collection of multidisciplinary cyanotype prints and poems inspired by seasonal plant species and elements of nature. This series of work explores and honors an amalgamation of wild, local New England plants which bloom throughout spring, summer, and autumn, and offers an alternate avenue of experiencing their multitude of characteristics. Using this photographic printmaking process, each print on paper and fabric is created using the chemistry of natural sunlight, water, and time, thus transforming shapes and textures into a memory that is tied to time and place.
