Learn how to create unique imagery through a basic introduction to the relief printing process! Using linoleum blocks as an image matrix, participants will draw and carve their own designs to explore the creative possibilities within this medium by printing with a variety of tools and mark making techniques on paper and fabric patches. 

Participants will be encouraged to work intuitively by embracing mistakes and releasing perfection, and tuning into the surrounding landscape, patterns, and season for inspiration. Through hand printing or a press, students will create a series of prints to be enjoyed and shared . This workshop is open to all ages (those under 14 must be accompanied by an adult). All materials are provided, and all levels of experience are welcome!
