Experiment with natural patterns through this hands-on workshop focused on cyanotypes! This class at Bedrock Gardens will explore the basics of cyanotype printing techniques with fabric and paper to create a series of prints and cotton fabric patches. These light sensitive prints can be framed and used for various projects, gifts, and more. Participants will capture shadows through cyanotype printing, utilizing seasonally foraged plants of the region as well as everyday objects to print with. Join us to experiment with this cameraless photographic process as a way to connect to the season and objects around us, helping to capture elements of time, place, history, and meaning through unique prints. No prior experience with any techniques is necessary to join!
